Surface Grinding Is An Indispensable Process In Precision Manufacturing. It Uses High-Speed Rotating Grinding Wheels And Worktables To Drive The Precise Relative Movement Of Workpieces. Combined With Suitable Grinding Wheels, Sufficient Cooling And Careful Operation, It Can Economically And Efficiently Obtain Ultra-High Flatness, Parallelism, Dimensional Accuracy And Surface Finish That Are Difficult To Achieve With Other Processing Methods (Such As Milling And Planing). It Is One Of The Key Processes For Manufacturing High-Quality And High-Reliability Mechanical Product Surfaces;

Grinding Wheel Feed:

1.Vertical Feed: The Grinding Wheel Is Fed Intermittently Downward In A Direction Perpendicular To The Workpiece Surface (Z Axis) (Usually At The End Of Each Stroke Of The Workpiece) To Control The Grinding Depth.
2.Horizontal Feed: On A Horizontal Spindle Rectangular Table Grinder, The Grinding Wheel Or Worktable Is Intermittently Fed In The Direction Perpendicular To The Worktable Movement Direction (X Axis) (Usually After Each Vertical Feed Or When The Worktable Changes Direction), So That The Grinding Wheel Width Direction Gradually Covers The Entire Processing Surface.
3.Worktable Motion: The Worktable Drives The Workpiece To Do Reciprocating Linear Motion (Most Common On Horizontal Spindle Rectangular Table Grinders) Or Rotational Motion (On Horizontal Spindle Circular Table Grinders Or Vertical Spindle Grinders).
4.Grinding Action: The Sharp Abrasive Grains On The Surface Of The High-Speed Rotating Grinding Wheel Slide Across The Surface Of The Workpiece When The Worktable Moves, Removing Tiny Material Particles Through Micro-Cutting, Scratching, Plowing, Etc.
